Cabinet
Cabinet signs, also known as wall or box signs, use lighted cabinets and are a good choice for day and night visibility. They are great for displaying high impact images and large text blocks.
They can use a lit background with lit (translucent) or non-lit (opaque) content above it.
Cabinet signs are a great hardy choice for projects with smaller budgets or where channel letters won’t work due to smaller sized content.

Channel Letters
Channel letters are metal and plastic and have a distinctive appearance that makes them stand out, whether in the day or lit at night. LED lighting can shine through the translucent plastic or be used as a backlight for special halo/backlit effect.
Channel letters are flexible in that they can be mounted directly to your wall or on a metal box (raceway) for a variety of impressive effects.
Standard Letters
Standard letters are 3 dimensional letters covered with thick plastic and illuminated from the inside.
Exposed Neon
These resemble Standard Letters but there is no plastic covering, allowing the neon to show through.
Backlit
These have a solid opaque front and are illuminated from behind the letter, causing a “negative space” when illuminated at night.
Dimensional Letters
Dimensional letters differ from Channel Letters since they are not internally lit. Consequently, they require external lighting and will require addition lighting fixtures. Their use of size and dimension make them a good choice for high impact signs on your wall or as self standing signs.
